Tony Curtis was born Bernard Herschel Schwartz in June 1925. He had a decades-long film career from the 1940s until his death in 2010. He starred opposite Kirk Douglas in The Vikings and then again as Antoninus to Douglas' Spartacus in Spartacus. In Spartacus, he starred with Laurence Olivier in the infamous "oysters and snails" scene that was originally removed for its homosexual connotations. Curtis was famously married six times including to Janet Leigh, with whom he is the father of Jamie Lee Curtis. Curtis was a true Hollywood legend and he will be sorely missed.
